Christopher Daniel was indicted Tuesday by a Lubbock County grand jury for stealing and damaging his roommate’s work vehicle.
Daniel, 26, was arrested July 13 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Daniel stole Richard Lopez Jr.’s Mr. Rooter Plumbing van and got it stuck in a Burger King drive-thru located on 82nd Street, which caused damages to the vehicle, according to court records.
The van is owned by Gary Tully Kerr, 47.

Police have submitted evidence to the Lubbock District Attorney’s Office in a shooting that killed one teen and injured another at an apartment complex in July, said Lt. Ray Mendoza.
The DA will decide what or if any charges will be brought against the person involved in the shooting, he said, as it may have been the result of an accident. “We want to get it right the first time,” Mendoza said.
Jaylon Brown, 19, died in the shooting in the 2500 block of Weber Drive, where the Park Meadows Villas are located, according to A-J Media.
