Plainview police are treating a death from a fight in a parking lot two weeks ago as a homicide, but have made no arrests.
James Morgan Jr. died while on life support in a Lubbock hospital April 4 after apparently being hurt in a fight on March 30.
Capt. Manuel Balderas of the Plainview police said investigators are still interviewing people and waiting for autopsy results before submitting the case to the criminal district attorney’s office.
Balderas said he expected the case to be turned over to the DA by the end of the week.
