A Lubbock County grand jury on Tuesday, April 30, indicted a Frenship High School junior on a charge of bringing firearms on campus.
Aaron Owens was arrested April 2 on the charge after he allegedly threatened to bring a gun to school. The student allegedly sent a text message with a photograph of the gun to a female student, asking which lunch period she attended, because he didn’t want to hurt her.
According to court records, police searched the home he was staying in with a relative and found the gun.
