Police seek suspects in home invasion
Lubbock police are searching three to four suspects in connection with a home invasion and robbery around midnight Wednesday, July 10, at a home in the 1900 block of 45th Street.
The suspects forced their way into the home before one of them struck a man in the head with a pistol and held him down while the others stole items from the house, according to a Lubbock Police Department news release.
The suspects fled in an unknown manner. The investigation is ongoing.
Three people arrested after vehicle pursuit
Two Lubbock men were arrested Wednesday, July 10, after a pursuit that spanned between Lubbock and Idalou and involved four law enforcement agencies.
Joseph Michael Bell and Anthony Martinez Zapata — both 20 and of Lubbock — are being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center.

Police investigate armed robbery
Lubbock police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at the CVS Pharmacy at 34th Street and Slide Road.
Police say a man wearing a red long sleeve shirt, black wind pants and a baseball cap threatened a store employee with a handgun and demanded money.
The suspect is between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds and is between 20 to 30 years old, according to a Lubbock Police Department news release.
A Lubbock couple is in jail facing felony drug charges after a traffic stop last month.
Joshua Hurt, 24, is accused of possessing 13.3 grams of methamphetamine after a June 24 search of his vehicle following a traffic stop, according to an arrest warrant prepared Tuesday, July 9. He faces a second-degree felony charge and a state felony charge.
Kassi Pressley, 22, a passenger in the vehicle, faces a state felony charge for illegal possession of Clonazepam — a prescription anti-anxiety drug.
