Lubbock fire fighters are responding to a grass fire Monday afternoon, Jan. 13, in West Lubbock.
Lubbock Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Rob Keinast said multiple units were called out to a grass fire on 34th Street and Upland Avenue.
He said no structures were damaged.

Levelland police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who was last seen last week.
Desiree Yates last seen Jan. 9th at 3:20 p.m. in Levelland.
She was wearing blue jeans, a light gray jacket with a multi-colored hoodie underneath. Yates is 5 feet tall and weighs about 145 pounds with braided hair.

One person was injured in a residential fire Thursday evening, Jan. 16, in West Lubbock.
Three fire engines and a fire truck were called to the fire shortly after 5 p.m. in the 3400 block of Evanston Avenue.
Fire crews continued battling the blaze after 5:30 p.m., according to a statement from Lubbock Fire Rescue.
One person, described as a civilian, was injured. The severity of their injuries was not released.
